Here are some great resources for our learners with ADD/ADHD.
Many teachers have intergrated a sensory basket in their classrooms.
These items help kids stay focused on the activity while getting their sensory needs met, rather than trying to meet their
needs by hiding it and not focusing on the activity as a result of this.
This basket includes things like squeeze balls, pencil grips, and
other items that kids can squeeze while doing their work. It is open to all the kids, but eventually the kids who really
need this item will continue to use it.
